The night remained clear, and though the moon was nearly full, I saw several shooting stars. I also watched a couple of deer wander through the meadow in the middle of the night. I slept well....at least well enough. I've slept on the snow before, but found myself a bit cooler that night than I had hoped. Libby found the snow to be too cool to sleep upon, and moved into the meadow part way into the night.
