The PCT drops about 700 feet to reach the shore of Dewey Lake. A second smaller lake lies just east of the trail. These two lakes are quite popular with day hikers. Many of them chose to walk around the larger of the two lakes. I chose to continue down the PCT to Anderson Lake for a bit more solitude.
