We soon reached the junction to Dewey Lakes and began our descent from the Naches Loop. We stopped at the largest lake for a snack. The sun beamed through the trees. We selected a sunny spot along a log to enjoy the sun's warmth. That did not last long, however. The fog and clouds returned. We continued down the trail and found several more areas of snow along the southern shore of Dewey Lake.
