Zion National Park,  Spring Vacation 2000,  April 18, 2000     page 1 / 8

We stayed just across the Arizona border in Kanab, Utah for three nights. After the first night, we drove up to Zion, about an hour away. The farther into the park you drive, the deeper the valleys become. It really is heavenly! We hiked a bit on the west side of the park to an overlook which looks deeper into the park. The trail is good, though a bit exposed in places. I'm surprised that Kevin's hand didn't lose all feeling while Libby or I held it in these high places! There are several trails in the park with a lot of different difficulty levels. I'd love to go back there someday and hike some more.
