The following day we checked out of our hotel room, and had breakfast in town at a little cafe. We walked some more, stopping at a couple of shops for souvenirs, ending up at the ferry terminal at 1:30 for our 3:00 PM departure. The ferry was a nice way to travel, though going without the car, and staying at a hotel in downtown might have led to less waiting around with the car. Perhaps next time we'll leave the vehicle in Port Angeles and go by foot. We had a great time and look forward to our next visit.
