Libby and Bruce had planned a dayhike for Saturday. I had just returned early from an extended trip in the Olympic National Park. I couldn't turn down the invitation to hike, so I went along as well.

Bruce had never been to Eunice Lake before, so we headed there. The Saturday morning drive was a bit slow, due to the popularity of the Mowich Lake trailhead. Libby and I realized that we hadn't visited on a weekend in several years, and realized why when we saw the high number of cars.
