We headed back to the Pacific Crest Trail and proceeded up the hill toward the Park Lakes. The grade seemed much steeper than is typical of the Crest trail, yet there was no whining. We simply plodded along. We found the views outstanding from the ridge. We took a break, ate a bit and took several photos of the hazy landscape.
