We hit the trail about 9:00AM, saying goodbye to some other hikers we'd met at the lake. As we climbed up the hill to exit the lake basin, we often looked over our shoulders to take another look at the view which would soon disappear.

Forty-five minutes later we arrived back at the falls. The morning sun lit up the falls like a city fountain. The lighting for photos might be trickier. I looked for good vantage points around the falls and found a couple below the bridge.
