We descended several hundred feet to cross Seattle Creek, where we began playing cat and mouse with the large hiking group. Then we climbed another seven hundred feet into the meadows below Mt. Seattle where the rain stopped for a while. Despite the light rain and cloudy summits, these meadows were as pleasant as I remembered them from 1992.
