By the time we reached the lake (about 1:30PM), the clouds had completely filled the valley. We discussed our options for the afternoon. We had packed enough food to stay two nights, but it looked as though the weather would deteriorate again. We finally decided to work our way back down the valley, probably stopping at one of the camps next to the creek seen the day before.
