We continued south, past Shelter Rock and higher into Royal Basin. We passed a beautiful creek with crystal clear water. We found more meadows up the valley. We commented to each other how much we expected to see some wildlife there. Perhaps more deer in the meadow, or some goat in the hills, but no more sightings like this were ever made.
