I reached the pass by 4:00 PM. My comfortable pace left me feeling tired, but not exhausted. The meadow just east of the pass provides several areas to camp. I counted five tents in the area during this trip. I continued to the pass, then south along the ridge, to a point roughly 300 feet above the pass.
