The next day, day five, we would hike south to join the High Divide trail, then proceed along it until passing Bogachiel Peak, then head down the hill past Deer Lake.

We began with the half mile trip high above Cat Basin past many more of those ripe huckleberries! High on the ridge above us, Dad spotted two bull elk!
