The holidays were busy for me. So when there was a sunny day in early February, I decided it was time to head for the hills. I parked at the Narada Falls parking area (4600'), on the road to Paradise in the Mt. Rainier National Park. This is an excellent trailhead for snowshoers of all levels. I followed the path up the shallow valley, occasionally glimpsing a sparkle from the creek.
