September was quickly passing, and we had another beautiful day forecast for the northwest. We headed to Mt. Rainier for a hike in the sun, before the fall drizzle began. The road to Sunrise was still open, so we began our hike there, opting for the Burroughs Mountain loop.

We started out at 11:30 with the sky high overhead. Despite being midday, the temperature was in the 60s, very comfortable.
