After a brief stop for a snack and a drink of water, we headed up the hill. It appeared that the area around the lake had been visited in recent days. However, we were there after a few warm days of sun, so the tracks in the snow were quite faint. Fortunately, the forest is thin in this area, so finding our way to the summit was merely a matter of heading northwest from the lake.

Part of the way up the hill we spotted Mt. Adams.
