Again, morning brought clear sky. I was more optimistic about the climb than I had been the evening before.

First, I headed into the basin, and collected some fresh water for the day's hike. Next, I headed pretty much straight up the hill. The rock and snow slopes were easy. Once I reached the summit block, game trails led me to the top.
