I made some dinner then headed down the High Divide Trail for an evening walk. I walked 3/4 mile to the pass and back. As I neared the campsite, I rounded a corner, looked into the meadow and found a large black bear. I looked at him, said hello, and he looked at me. I looked around for cubs, but saw none. So, it was picture time!
