My intent was to either camp at Eleven Bull Basin, or continue another mile or so, then camp on the ridge west of Stephen Lake. The basin looked so inviting. A few clouds were forming over the ridge. Not sure whether I would have a view from the ridge, I decided to stay in the basin. A grasshopper watched while I made my decision to remain there overnight.
