We sat for a time, enjoying the view, then I decided to wander east, along the ridge. Libby waited behind. I walked about 50 feet from her, then dropped down behind a large rock. I looked to my right and saw a six-point elk in the woods! He quickly spotted me, turned and bounded down the hill. I was unable to point him out soon enough for Libby to spot him too.
